Miguel Ferreira resonates with this sentiment because, no matter how extensively he photographs the natural landscape, it always manifests as new and distinct; everything is in flux, and nothing remains constant. In 2000, the author acquired a large-format camera and embarked on a journey through France. What ensued was an exploration full of emotions, a rediscovery of France that offered a fresh perspective on the landscape — his interpretation of the French scenery aimed to reveal the delicate equilibrium between nature and humanity.
The « Franca Terra » series was meticulously printed in the darkroom on double-weight fibre paper and subsequently selenium-toned for archival permanence.
